Blue Ox II

Ru55ell had an 86 4runner he had dubbed Blue Ox. It was getting old and he wanted to upgrade, so he purchased a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4×4 and named it Blue Ox II. It started out basically stock – it came with a K&N cold air intake and a ranch hand brush guard which Ru55ell sold because they didn’t fit his needs for this expedition rig build.

Add-ons inclube an ARB winch bumper, a warn winch, steel wheels, and chrome front grill and rear bumper swapped out for the base model Tacoma black versions. New Kevlar MT/Rs give it a nice agressive look, and definitely improve traction offroad. In December, the expedition Taco Blue Ox II was sold due to a job transfer.
